The Criterion's Business Membership & Sponsorship programs are great investments of your marketing and philanthropic resources.
Year after year governmental studies show the impact of the arts on our economies: An average event-goer spends $32 in the surrounding community, by buying gas, eating out, or staying over in one of our numerous hotels. With 900 seats, and the world-class programming to fill them, this could bring over $28,000 to our community... Per show.
The Criterion is aiming to impact MDI & Downeast Maine by contributing substantial traffic during our shoulder seasons, when we can make the biggest impact. Our nationally recognized historic theatre is one of the most unique in our country. Alongside Acadia National Park, we hope to become a must-see Downeast Maine landmark.
By joining us, your business will grow community presence, visibility statewide, as well as the added bonuses of logo placement on our posters, pre-film slideshows, radio, print, and television ads, pre-show speeches and more. Oh, it's also tax deductible.
